"But the day of the Lord will come as a thief in the night, in which the heavens will pass away with a great noise, and the elements will melt with fervent heat; both the earth and the works that are in it will be burned up.[c] 11 Therefore, since all these things will be dissolved, what manner of persons ought you to be in holy conduct and godliness, 12 looking for and hastening the coming of the day of God, because of which the heavens will be dissolved, being on fire, and the elements will melt with fervent heat? 13 Nevertheless we, according to His promise, look for new heavens and a new earth in which righteousness dwells.
14 Therefore, beloved, looking forward to these things, be diligent to be found by Him in peace, without spot and blameless; 15 and consider that the longsuffering of our Lord is salvation."

End of the world 2012? What do you think?
What does the bible say about the end of the world?
As you may around know this idea of end of the world 2012 came from the idea that the mayan calendar will end on December 21, 2012.
But as the scriptures tell us no one will know when the "end of the world" will be, only our Heavenly Father knows.
Our best attitude is to make sure we're always ready to see God, and not so much in worrying about whether it'll be end of the world 2012 or the next year or when doomsday will be.
As you may already know the whole Mayan calendar doomsday scenario will likely be overtaken by another popular idea about the apocalypse down the road when this date pass.
We must always be ready to see God as if today is the end of the world.
But we always have hope in Jesus Christ through repentance and faith in Him. God bless you!
